Perfumers

Born in Grasse, Pierre Negrin developed an early passion for fragrance through his grandparents who worked in the trade of aromatic plants and raw materials. Surrounded by flowers, herbs and natural extracts from a young age, he discovered a deep emotional connection to scent that would shape his creative vision.

After studying chemistry, Pierre learned the art of perfumery through hands-on experience within leading fragrance houses. Now based in New York, he has created fragrances for some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including Tom Ford, Amouage, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein.
His work is known for its sensuality, elegance and emotional depth.

Pierre collaborates closely with Franck with whom he developed EAU PAPAGUÉNA, AMBRE NOMADE and EXTRAIT NOIR. The beginning of an ongoing creative dialogue.

A sophisticated Parisian, with her head in the clouds and her feet on the ground, Philippine Coutière approaches perfumery with freedom and precision, composing fragrances that balance elegance, sensuality and modernity.

Originally trained as a lawyer, Philippine Courtière made a 180 degree career shift to devote herself entirely to the art of fragrance. During this transformative journey, she was guided by renowned perfumers such as Francis Kurkdjian, Michel Almairac and Jacques Cavallier whose mentorship helped shape her artistic and technical vision.

Traveler at heart, Philippine built her experience between Paris and New York, cities whose energy and contrasts continue to influence her signature. Today, dividing her time between Dubai and Paris, she draws inspiration from the Middle Eastern perfumery for which she holds a profound passion. She loves working with balsams, precious woods, resins, spices and sensual amber accords, which she interprets with a luminous and contemporary elegance.

For ÉLISIRE, Philippine Courtière composed DESIRED, ODEROSE, ÉROSE, EXTRAIT BLANC and ALIKSIR.

Alberto Morillas was born in Seville and later established in Switzerland, where he developed an early fascination with scent, raw materials and the emotional power of perfume. A self-taught perfumer, he gradually built a distinctive olfactive signature combining clarity, balance, elegance and sensuality.

Over the course of his career, Alberto Morillas has created numerous fragrances for some of the world’s leading perfume houses and has contributed to many iconic creations in contemporary perfumery. His style is known for its luminous construction, attention to detail and refined use of ingredients such as white flowers, citrus notes, musks and woods.

His creative universe draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, nature, travel and art. Deeply attached to both craftsmanship and innovation, he approaches perfume as a form of artistic expression capable of creating an intimate connection through emotion and memory. 

A long-standing creative complicity links Franck and Alberto Morillas, born from their shared history within the Armani fragrance universe and expressed through two floral creations for ÉLISIRE : POUDRE DÉSIR and JASMIN PARADIS.

Ilias Ermenidis is a Greek master perfumer known for his vibrant and sophisticated olfactive style, shaped by his Mediterranean roots and his passion for raw materials, light, and emotion. Raised between cultures, he developed a distinctive creative approach balancing intensity, elegance, and modernity.

Over the years, he has created numerous fragrances for some of the world’s leading perfume houses, with compositions recognized for their sensuality, diffusion, and refined structure. Inspired by travel, art, gastronomy, and Mediterranean culture, he approaches perfumery as a living and emotional form of expression.

The creative dialogue between Ilias Ermenidis and Franck led to the creation of ÉLIXIR ABSOLU for ÉLISIRE — a fragrance expressing a shared vision of sensuality and contemporary elegance.

Born in a family deeply connected to perfumery, Clément Gavarry inherited a passion for fragrance from an early age. Raised between France and the United States, he developed a refined and instinctive approach to scent, blending French elegance with a modern international sensibility.

Over the years, Clément Gavarry has composed fragrances for some of the world’s most iconic brands, earning recognition for creations that balance sophistication, emotion, and technical mastery. His work is distinguished by a contemporary signature where freshness, texture, and depth coexist with remarkable precision.

In collaboration with Franck Salzwedel, Clément created HAUTBOIS, a composition built around natural Oud Assafi — regarded as one of the purest and most precious oud extractions in the world. Together, they explored the noble richness of this exceptional raw material through a refined and deeply textured olfactive creation.

Bérénice Watteau is a French perfumer whose creative approach blends precision, sensitivity, and a deep appreciation for natural raw materials. She has developed a refined olfactive signature distinguished by elegance, modernity and emotional subtlety.

Driven by a passion for artistic expression and sensory storytelling, Bérénice approaches perfumery as a balance between intuition and craftsmanship. Her creations reveal a delicate attention to texture, light, and composition, resulting in fragrances that feel both contemporary and timeless.

Through her work, Bérénice Watteau continues to embody a new generation of perfumers, bringing freshness, sophistication and poetic sensibility to modern haute perfumery.

Together with Franck Salzwedel, she also co-created IN FABULA, a fragrance conceived by pushing the boundaries of the modern Chypre, exploring new textures and interpretations within this iconic olfactive family.
